Hello! We are Sam and Mimi Khampaeng. Together since September 2017, we got married in October 2023. A year ago, in May 2024, we started our journey to have our first child. After several months, we chose to seek help at our local fertility clinic. Following extensive testing and attempts at IUI, we received a diagnosis of unexplained infertility, which means we don’t know why these efforts haven’t worked for a healthy 28-year-old. After one year and thousands of dollars spent, we have achieved no success and are now moving on to IVF. Fortunately, Sam’s insurance has finally agreed to assist with treatments and embryo storage costs. However, we must cover the IVF medications and donor expenses out of pocket. We aren’t usually the type to seek help, especially financially, but we believe our village of friends and family want this for us, too. We hope this fundraiser will allow us to save up more quickly and begin treatments sooner. More than anything, we desire a family. After eight years together and nearly two years of marriage, we are eager to embark on this next chapter of our lives. Thank you for taking the time to hear our story!
