Help the Helmbolds Start a Family!

We are Kirk and Kristin Helmbold, and we have an amazing love story! As hard as it was being single until our 40s, it was worth the wait when we finally found each other; our hearts felt complete. We met in December 2019, and after dating through 2020, it was incredible that we were able to be married on June 20, 2021! Both of us had similar upbringings, both blessed beyond belief to have beautiful families and parents who loved and supported us throughout our lives. After receiving the news that Kirk had a stage four brain tumor when he was just five years old, his family prepared for the worst. However, God had a different plan - Kirk was miraculously healed and ready for each day knowing there must be a glorious plan for his life. Included in his dreams has always been to start a family of his own, especially as he met his nephew and niece who have become such a joy in his life. I grew up with one purpose in mind: to be a teacher. At a young age, I would teach my dolls and soon make my little brother my star pupil throughout the summer days. When my first nephew was born, I never knew I could love someone so much. It only got better when my niece was born and then another niece and two nephews came later! Both of us had a yearning to have children of our own, but we just had to wait for God's right partner to come along. Here we are! Although we know this was the path set for us both, we have struggled to go through the process of what it looks like to have children in our 40s. It hasn't been an easy road, but we are hopeful that we now have an answer! We need your help to raise the money to start our family.
