For the past two years, my wife and I have been fighting to start a family. My wife struggles with PCOS, which makes getting pregnant incredibly difficult. We have spent countless hours with doctors, undergone testing, tried medications, and even attempted IUI, all while holding on to hope and praying for our miracle. Against all odds, we finally got pregnant and were overjoyed to learn we were expecting twins. Sadly, we suffered a miscarriage during the first trimester, and our hearts were shattered. Losing our babies after everything we had been through was devastating, but we still haven't given up on our dream of becoming parents. After seeing more doctors and trying additional medications without success, we have learned that our best chance of having a baby is through IVF with a donor egg. Unfortunately, the estimated cost through CNY Fertility is around $15,000, and our insurance does not cover fertility treatments. We both work hard in public service, but with modest incomes, saving enough for treatment feels nearly impossible. My wife dedicates her days to helping children and families in a low-income school district, and we hope one day to have a child of our own to love and raise. Asking for help isn't easy, but we are reaching out with hope in our hearts. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help make our dream of becoming parents a reality.
