Their story

First of all, thank you. Sincerely, we are so grateful for the love and support we receive on a daily basis from all of our family and friends that have been with us through our fertility journey. This certainly wasn't what we expected it to be, but then again, nobody plans for infertility. We began trying to grow our family naturally in 2020; what a year, right?! By the end of 2021 we had experienced three miscarriages and our OB advised us to take the next steps in diagnosing why we have been unable to carry to full-term. We started at a fertility center in April of 2022 and jumped right into the process of IVF. One egg retrieval, three hysteroscopy procedures, months of injections, and we were finally ready for our first embryo transfer in September. In October, on my birthday, we found out that our transfer had failed and we were not pregnant. This came as a surprise since we had not previously had an issue *getting* pregnant, but staying pregnant. It was devastating. As it turns out, we have needed to continue treatment for some of the disorders my body is battling and our fight with infertility is not over. Although we are still processing the grief from our losses, we look optimistically toward our future knowing we still have 4 healthy embryos "on ice". As we prepare for our future and another embryo transfer, we are asking for help on this path by donating to our fundraiser. We are seeking assistance with the financial burden of transferring another embryo, and we would be honored and eternally grateful for any help.
