My name is Kristen and having children has always been a dream of mine—a dream that has grown stronger over the years. Now, at 34, time is of the essence. My husband, who is a bit older than me, had a vasectomy before we were married, making our journey to parenthood more complex. Despite this challenge, we both long to expand our family.
In addition to the vasectomy, I recently discovered that one of my fallopian tubes is hidden behind my uterus, which explains why I haven't been able to conceive before now. After consulting with doctors, we've learned that IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) is the best path forward for us.
My husband and I want nothing more than to bring another precious blessing into our family. However, the costs of fertility treatments are overwhelming, and insurance offers no assistance.
As a full-time student pursuing my bachelor's degree in social work and my husband working as a manager and mechanic at a tire and auto store, our resources are stretched thin. We are asking for your help to make this dream a reality. Your support would mean the world to us, allowing us to create the family we've always dreamed of and share our love with a new life.
