My husband, Anthony, and I got married in 2016…. That same year, we were blessed to become pregnant naturally for the first time... We were so excited to finally become parents, but unfortunately, we lost our baby to miscarriage.. It was a heartbreak we never imagined we would have to experience. A few years later, in 2019, after continuing to hope and try for another baby, we became pregnant again.We thought this was finally our second chance at the family we had dreamed about for so long. Sadly, we experienced another miscarriage. Since then, we have spent years trying to grow our family, but we have been unsuccessful. What began as a dream that we thought would happen naturally has turned into a journey of years of appointments, testing, procedures, medications, waiting, hope, disappointment, and trying to find the strength to keep going. Infertility has affected us in ways that are difficult to put into words. It has taken an emotional and physical toll on both of us, and there have been many moments when it has been incredibly difficult to watch time pass while the family we dream of remains just out of reach. Through all of it, Anthony has continued to stand beside me. We have carried this journey together, supporting each other through every disappointment and every new attempt. We have never stopped wanting to be parents. We have never stopped hoping that one day we will finally get to hold our baby. After years of trying, our doctors have recommended IVF as the next step in our journey. IVF gives us hope, but the cost is more than we are able to afford on our own. We have already sacrificed and done everything within our ability to get to this point, but we cannot take this next step without financial help. We are applying for this grant because we desperately want the opportunity to keep fighting for the family we have dreamed of for so many years. We know that IVF cannot guarantee the outcome we hope for, but it can give us a chance, and after everything we have been through, having that chance means everything to us. We hope that, with your help, we can finally begin this next chapter and have the opportunity to become the parents we have dreamed of being for so long. With love and gratitude.
