Our names are Maggie and Nicki. We’ve been together since 2009, and married since 2014. Both of us are activists for 2SLGBTQIA+ and disability rights. Nicki is a library assistant at a university and Maggie is a human rights officer. We’re fundraising because we’ve been dreaming of starting our family. Nicki is the one carrying, and has issues due to PCOS, due to which they lost an ovary and Fallopian tube during an emergency surgery. Maggie just finished a year long battle with colon cancer. We’re trying not to loose hope, and this fundraiser is our last shot.
