Hello! My name is Alicia and I made this in hopes of giving us some relief from my wife's and my journey in creating our family. As many know, the journey is not cheap when you need IUI and IVF. Long story short, my wife's dream is to carry our first child due to her being older and that dream is seeming further away as the days go by. After initial testing before starting IUI, we found out she needed a fallopian tube removed and had a great deal of endometriosis. With this, our first fertility center made us feel like we still had a solid chance after her surgery. This went on for six months. 6 rounds of IUI and $13,000 later, we came to the realization that this fertility center didn't have our best interest at heart. After getting additional opinions, we are being told IVF is our only option at this point. We are excited about the potential of making our family become a reality but also extremely torn on how to come up with the thousands of dollars needed as a down payment upfront.
