# Help Us Bring Our Baby Home
Hi! We're Trey and Elizabeth.
If you've taken the time to read our story, thank you. Whether you choose to donate, share our fundraiser, or simply pray for our family, we are grateful that you're here.
For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of being a mom. That dream began when I was about twelve years old. I imagined bedtime stories, first steps, scraped knees, school concerts, family vacations, and someday hearing a little voice call me "Mom."
Just a year later, my body began telling a different story.
As I grew older, I learned that I have PCOS. Over the years, I've done everything I could to grow our family. We've prayed, met with specialists, gone through fertility treatments, taken medications, changed our lifestyle, and held onto hope through every new possibility. Time after time, we believed, waited, and prayed for good news. Time after time, we were met with disappointment.
Living with PCOS has been one of the hardest journeys of my life because it has often felt like my own body was working against the dream I had carried since childhood.
But through all of the heartbreak, one thing has never changed.
My heart has never stopped longing to love another child.
Together, Trey and I are already blessed to be raising our incredible daughter, Alma. While I didn't give birth to her, she has made me a mom in every way that truly matters. Loving her has shown me that family isn't defined by biology—it's built through love, commitment, and choosing one another every single day.
Alma is one of the biggest supporters of this journey. She talks often about how much she would love to have a little sister to love, teach, and grow up alongside. Watching her excitement reminds us that this adoption isn't only about adding another child to our family—it's about giving a child a home where they will be loved by all three of us from the very beginning.
After years of praying and searching, we believe God has led us to adoption.
We are pursuing a private domestic newborn adoption through Angel Adoption because our greatest desire is to welcome a baby into our home from the very beginning of their life and provide them with a lifetime of unconditional love, security, encouragement, and belonging. We know adoption begins with a difficult decision made by a birth family, and we have deep respect for that journey. If we are blessed with the opportunity to adopt, we are committed to honoring our child's story with love, honesty, and gratitude.
Adoption is beautiful, but it is also expensive. The process includes a home study, agency and matching fees, legal expenses, birth parent support, travel, and placement costs. In total, these expenses can exceed $40,000. We are working hard, saving as much as we can, applying for adoption grants, and trusting God every step of the way. Even so, we cannot do it alone.
If you feel led to support our family, every gift—whether it's $5 or $500—will go directly toward bringing our baby home. Every donation brings us one step closer to meeting the child we believe God has prepared for our family—the child who will one day call us Mom and Dad.
If you're unable to give financially, we completely understand. We would be incredibly grateful if you would share our fundraiser and keep our family, our future child, and their birth family in your prayers.
One day, we hope to sit beside our son or daughter and tell them this story—that before we ever met them, an entire community came together to help bring them home. What an incredible reminder that they have been loved and prayed for from the very beginning.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our family, praying for us, and walking this journey alongside us. We cannot wait for the day we introduce you to the newest member of our family.
With love and gratitude,
Trey, Elizabeth & Alma
