My name is Cindy, I am an elementary school teacher and my husband is part of our armed forces. We have been married for 2 years and at 38 years old, my biological clock is ticking. In my teens and 20’s I suffered from severe endometriosis and pcos. In my early 20’s I had my first abnormal Pap smear which lead me down a long and devastating road to an early partial hysterectomy just shy of 30. Thankfully my ovaries are still healthy. My husband and I have decided we are tired of sleeping as late as we want haha and we have been hoping to add a child of our own to our family. We are lucky enough to have a wonderful friend offering to be our gestational carrier she has been fully approved and is doing this for free, we just need the funding to get that far. Last summer we drained our savings account on a failed attempt at creating an embryo. We just want another opportunity to bring the joy of life into the world and share that experience together.
