Hello! My name is Kaylie and my husbands name is Dustin. We have been together for over 6 years! We have been trying to conceive for 4 years. We have tried many fertility treatments and are now on to IVF. A little bit about our medical situation, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2018. Endometriosis is a condition where the tissue that normally grows inside your uterus grows outside of the uterus. This can cause tissue to block fallopian tubes and causing scar tissue to form making it very difficult to get pregnant. My husband also has trouble with his swimmers. He has a low sperm count and they don’t swim like they are supposed to. We have gone through so many negative pregnancy tests and have felt so defeated. Somehow we continue to hold on to hope that one day our dream of having a beautiful baby will come true. We have gone back and forth on doing IVF just hoping that we could conceive “naturally” but was told that conceiving “naturally” for us may not be an option. We are beyond ready to start this new journey but unfortunately the cost of IVF had been holding us back and insurance doesn’t cover IVF. Although the outcome of this journey is uncertain, we are hoping that with the love of our family, friends and everyone out there that has struggled with fertility or people who just want to help, can help us get closer to this dream!
