Hi everybody, our names are Houston and Cynthia. We’d like to share a little bit of our journey with you. Me and Houston fell in love at Target, we had 2 babies and got married when we were 22 and 25. I had been struggling with PCOS for years and was diagnosed with Lupus last year. My body was not reacting well to contraceptives and couldn’t afford another pregnancy at the time because of how sick I was getting so Houston got a vasectomy a couple months after the wedding to protect my health. At the time it seemed like the right thing to do and we were told by the doctors that if I ever got better the vasectomy could be reversed. What they failed to mentioned is how expensive it is and that insurance doesn’t cover it. I continue to see doctors and we have managed to keep my health under control for most of the time, and would love to grow our family with a baby. We have done lots of research about IVf and reversals and it seems like the vasectomy reversal is the cheapest option. Still $8000 is not small thing, Houston works as much as he can to provide for us and I work part time to care for the children and even when we don’t make much, God has always made sure there’s food in the table. I just found this website tonight looking on Google for some sort of grant to help with the expenses and I truly believe God uses strangers many times to show us His love an bless us.
