Hi my name is Sara and my fiancé and I met when we were 17 in high school. We were high school sweethearts and life sadly took us on separate paths. I spent ten years in a very abusive relationship that I did not know how to get out of. Out of a desperate situation came a very desperate and bad decision to get my tubes removed. Ovarian cancer runs in my family so that made ny decision a little easier but I could not see a future where bringing a baby into this toxicity would be a good thing. I sacrificed my ability to conceive out of fear of being that much more cemented into the scary world I was living in. Today I am 35 and my now fiancé and former high school sweetheart has restored my faith in happiness. He found me in a point in my life where I had given up and brought me back to life. As much as we love our little life there is something missing. Something I sacrificed. We want a child. I am hoping this fundraiser will at least get us close to achieving the goal of extending our little family. IVF would be a blessing. It would be the missing link to our blended family.
