We are Leila and Jessica, a married couple already blessed to be raising our daughter, Chloee, together. Our family is the center of our world, and for a long time we have dreamed of giving her a sibling and welcoming another child into our family. For us, reciprocal IVF is so much more than a medical procedure. Our hope is to create embryos using Leila’s eggs and donor sperm, with Jessica carrying our baby. It gives both of us the opportunity to have a unique and incredibly meaningful role in bringing our child into the world. Getting to this point has not been easy. Our fertility journey has included countless appointments, testing, procedures, difficult medical news, unexpected complications, and plenty of moments where our plans had to change. Jessica was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), adding another layer of treatment, medication, and monitoring to an already complicated process. Through everything, we have continued moving forward because the family we are working toward is worth every step. Now, after all of the appointments, planning, testing, and waiting, we are preparing to begin reciprocal IVF. Our next steps include purchasing donor sperm, fertility medications, Leila’s egg retrieval, fertilization and embryo creation, and eventually preparing Jessica for our embryo transfer. The financial reality of IVF is one of the hardest parts of this journey. Our estimated IVF cycle alone is approximately $17,400 before medications, and there are additional expenses associated with donor sperm and other parts of treatment. We have invested our own savings and continue doing everything we can to make this happen, but assistance would make an enormous difference for our family. Every donation, share, prayer, and word of encouragement brings us one step closer to the baby we have spent so much time dreaming about. We aren't simply asking for help paying for a medical procedure—we are asking for help creating the next chapter of our family. One day, we hope to look back at this journey with our children and tell them just how many people helped us bring our dream to life.
