A little hope, a little faith, and a whole lot of prayers. If you know us, you know how much we have dreamed of becoming parents. Having a child to love, hold, raise, and watch grow is something we have prayed for with all our hearts. What some people may not see is just how long and difficult this journey has been for us. For 17 years, we have held onto this dream. There have been so many prayers, tears, disappointments, and moments when we wondered if our time would ever come. We have gone through three unsuccessful IUI treatments, and with stage 4 endometriosis and PCOS, the road to parenthood has not been an easy one. There have been moments when we smiled on the outside but cried on the inside. Moments when seeing pregnancy announcements or hearing someone share their happy news reminded us of the one thing we have been praying so hard for. We are genuinely happy for others, but sometimes it hurts when your own heart is still waiting. In 2024, I lost my dad. One of the things that hurts my heart the most is knowing he won't be here to see me become a mother. I always dreamed of him holding his grandchild, seeing us start our family, and sharing in that happiness with us. I wish more than anything that he could be here for that moment. Through all of this, we have had to lean on God in ways we never imagined. There have been days when our faith was tested, days when we questioned why something we wanted so badly had not happened. But even through the tears, we are still praying, still believing, and still trusting that God has a plan for our lives. Now, we are preparing to take another step of faith by pursuing IVF. This is why we are opening our hearts and asking for help. IVF is expensive, and the costs of medications, procedures, appointments, and treatment are more than we can comfortably take on alone. We are hoping to raise funds to help make this next step possible. We know times are hard for everyone, and we don't take it lightly to ask for help.
