My name is Ashley and my Husbands name is Nicolas. We are newly married and have always dreamed about starting a family. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS after about 8 months of trying to conceive without success. Along with my PCOS we have tried 4 rounds of fertility pills and none of them are working properly for my body. I have now been referred to a specialist and we are HOPEFULLY on the right journey of having a child. There are many costs that come along with this next chapter however. We are going to try two rounds of IUI which stands for (intrauterine insemination) and if those fail our only other options is IVF (invitro fertilization). Which both come with a hearty price tag. I am scheduled to have a test done to make sure my tubes are not blocked before starting IUI. There isn't a price we wouldn't pay to start our family and bring a child into this world, but unfortunately none of these treatments are covered by insurance as they view infertility as an optional treatment, when in reality, medically my body does not do what it is suppose to do to bring a child into the world. All costs of treatment are due before they will start the process, so any donations are greatly appreciated for this next chapter of our lives and hopefully we are on the path to a baby very soon.
