Their story

Hi, my name is Whitney, and I’m a fighter. At 35, I’ve already faced one of life’s toughest battles—Stage IV Skin Cancer. Last year, after months of uncertainty and countless doctor visits, I received my diagnosis on April 8, 2024. Everything moved so fast. There was no time to preserve my eggs before starting chemotherapy on May 5. I endured 11 rounds of chemo, 4 immunotherapy treatments, and 33 grueling days of radiation, all while clinging to what the future would be. But cancer didn’t just take my health—it took a piece of my future, too. When I finally saw an endocrinologist, I learned the chemo had shrunk my ovaries, leaving me with only a 40% chance of conceiving naturally. The dream of possibly having a child, something so many take for granted, now feels fragile and uncertain. I have insurance, but the costs of fertility treatments are overwhelming. Medications alone cost $575, and the procedures themselves are far beyond what I can afford on my own. That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help. Every donation brings me one step closer to holding my baby in my arms. And here’s the good news—as of April 29, 2025, I rang the bell, cancer-free! Now, I’m fighting for a new dream: motherhood. With your support, I can turn that dream into reality. Thank you for standing with me on this journey. Your generosity means more than words can say.
