My name is Candice. My partner, Donald, and I have both survived abusive marriages and found an instant bond through our trauma and healing journeys. Donald has three teenage children from his previous marriage who live with us full time. He was convinced to get a vasectomy 14 years ago. We want so badly to have a baby of our own to give a life to our incredible bond and complete our blended family. Two years ago, we saw a urologist in an attempt to have the vasectomy reversed. Donald went through surgery and weeks of pain only for our dreams to be crushed when we found out it was unsuccessful. We began looking into IVF and had our first appointment a couple months ago. On February 7th we received the best news of our journey so far - we have viable sperm and can start our IVF journey! As we had previously placed our savings into the reversal, we could use any help we can get in this adventure.
