Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca and my husband is Braden! We’ve been married for five years next month and have been trying to conceive since April of 2021. In April of 2022 we started seeing a fertility specialist who diagnosed us with unexplained infertility. A few months of medicated cycles and two IUI’s and we had no success. We’re now at a new clinic, where they quickly diagnosed me with PCOS, and made some changes to our treatment. We attempted two IUI’s and four medicated cycles with them.. all of which were unsuccessful. Two months ago my husband saw the urologist where he was diagnosed with bilateral grade one varicocele. He just had his repair last month and we will continue doing medicated cycles while saving for our next step… IVF. My fertility coverage through insurance at work isn’t ideal.. it only covers three months of medicated cycles. I am a rotating PICU nurse and student, so while I’ve thought about getting a part time job at Starbucks to cover more cost.. I just don’t see this being feasible flipping between day and night shift and being a student still. Any donation is greatly appreciated during this unreal journey we’ve been on. This is something I struggled to post, and never wanted to ask for money.
