Hi, I'm Tom. My wife Sarah has battled with kidney disease and Crohn’s disease for her entire adult life and can't carry a child in her current health. We’re starting our IVF journey now to save our chance of having a child in the future, hoping to freeze embryos before she has a kidney transplant this year. Since our insurance doesn’t cover fertility treatment, it’s all out of pocket for us. It’s been a long and complicated road to even get to this point.
