My name is Genesi, and I am raising funds through Gift of Parenthood to help make my dream of becoming a mother a reality. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to experience the joy of motherhood, but the journey to conceive has been incredibly difficult. I have never been formally diagnosed with infertility because I lack the proper insurance and financial resources to undergo the necessary medical evaluations. Despite these challenges, I continued trying, and last year, I finally became pregnant. Sadly it, my joy was short-lived as I suffered a miscarriage. The cause was unknown, and while I initially hoped to let my body handle the loss naturally, I ultimately had to undergo an emergency D&C to protect my health. This experience has left me heartbroken, but I refuse to give up hope. I have been trying to conceive for over a year, using every natural method available, including fertility tracking with the Mira device and the Premom app. Yet, despite my efforts, I have not been able to get pregnant again. I have not met a single person who has had a successful pregnancy after a D&C, and I fear that my chances are slipping away. At 33 years old, I am a full-time student working hard to build a better future, but the financial burden of IVF is beyond my reach. This fundraiser is my last hope to make my dream of becoming a mother come true. Any contribution, big or small, will bring me one step closer to starting this process and finally having the chance to hold my baby in my arms.
