My name is Tawni, I’m 33 years old and married to an amazing man and his/our 2 babes. We have struggled with recurrent miscarriages, 8 to be exact, without any explanation as to why this keeps happening. Left without any official diagnoses or explanations, my age creeping closer to a “high risk pregnancy” and the whole-hearted desire to have a baby of my own, we are resorting to IVF as our last hope. This has been an extremely heartbreaking and emotional roller coaster with each pregnancy becoming a miscarriage but I need to keep fighting to be a mama. My heart will never feel “whole” without a piece of us here on Earth. With the financial burden of IVF, we are nothing short of stressed and praying constantly that IVF will be attainable.
