Hi! Most of you know who we are, but for those that do not - we are Catheryne and Ethan Baker! We have been happily married for almost 4 years and live in Grenada, MS with our three bad cats, Fisk, Atari, and Vin. We have always known we wanted a family of our own, so shortly after we got married, we started on that journey. Nothing could have prepared us for the highs and lows we would go through since 2021. In February of 2023, we finally decided to seek medical intervention. Catheryne was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)/anovulation and hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s disease - both of which negatively impact fertility. These answers gave us the push to begin fertility treatments with a specialist, learning our chances of conceiving naturally were next to none. We have since completed countless medicated cycles and now 6 failed IUIs, or intrauterine insemination with medicine and injections (Ethan got really good at giving shots!). This has already been an emotional (and expensive) journey so far, but we aren’t giving up! Our best chance at starting a family is “in vitro fertilization,” or IVF. IVF comes with a huge price tag, and unfortunately, none of the treatment is covered by our insurance. We have been quoted $25,000 for procedures and medication for IVF. We do not have that kind of money right now, but we are determined to have a sweet little baby join our family! Through lots of fundraising and saving of our own, we know we can get there. Times are tough for everyone, but we are humbly asking for any donations to help reach our goal. Your financial support will go to our clinic and pharmacy to help cover the costs of the many steps that go into this process. We believe when money is involved, everything should be out in the open. So, if you are curious about any of this, please reach out! Our hope is to be able to start IVF in the next few weeks, but we know that it will happen exactly when it is supposed to. Update #2 - SOON!

The last few months of Valentine\'s Day raffles, Easter Egg My Yard fundraisers, bake sales, and yard sale have raised our total to a little over $9,000 for our IVF treatment! We are hopeful to start before the end of this year - hopefully MUCH sooner! It has been a long year since we learned that our best chance of having a family is through IVF. We are so excited to be holding sweet Baby Baker - hopefully in 2026. :)

Somehow, we have been fundraising six whole months! Through tshirt sales, sweet treats, and an amazing village, we have raised approximately $5,000 of the $25,000 we need! We are so thankful! 🥹
