My husband, Lance and I have been together for almost 10 years. 4 years ago, our son Henry was born. We didn’t quite feel like our family was complete yet so fast forward 3 years, we were excited to be adding to our family but unfortunately we are presented with unexplained infertility. Henry lost his baby sister, Amelia, at just 16 weeks gestation with Trisomy 18. Following her loss, we experienced 2 more unexpected losses. We have decided to endure the road of IVF to help complete our family and give Henry the sibling he is yearning for. Unfortunately the cost of IVF makes it infeasible for a lot of people without IVF insurance coverage, but I’m hoping that if we lean hard into our village we will be able to bring a new baby home soon.
