My name is Teddie, and I've been struggling with Endometriosis since I was 17. My husband and I were best friends in high school, and began dating once we both graduated. We've known each other for fifteen years!  For those who don't know, endometriosis is an extremely painful, chronic illness that hinders your ability to have and carry children. We've gone through several treatments to slow the growth of the endometriosis, but it was persistent and  threatened the viability of my ovaries. As a result, I had a hysterectomy to remove everything but my ovaries. Unfortunately, endo and cysts continue to be a problem,. The goal is removal of ovaries for chronic pain relief, as well.  I've undergone 8 laparoscopies, 3 cystecomies, and one partial hysterectomy. I've also been in treatment for over severe genetic illnesses. Currently, we are pursuing IVF cryopreservation in hopes to save some eggs for a future date when we are in a position to have a family. We are often struggling to make ends meet. This is our last opportunity to preserve the future we both dream of.
