Hi everyone! We are the Mezzos (Kayla and Dale). We have been struggling with infertility on and off since late 2014 or early 2015. We worked with several different doctors between 2015-2017 but were ultimately unsuccessful with different treatments and on our own. It's been a crazy few years, and Dale and I were originally stopped altogether and decided to try and live our lives child-free. We never originally got the chance to try IVF due to the costs. We have decided now to make the big steps to try IVF with our local clinic, PCRM in Edmonton (one of the only ones in the city). If you are not aware, fertility treatments cost anywhere from $10,000-$20,000 per try depending on different factors. We know the original base cost is $11,000 and it can be anywhere from $3,000-$7,000 for medication. The government does not provide any coverage nor do any Third Party insurance companies, except for the cost of some medications. We know it's a lot to ask, but even small donations can help us achieve our dream of becoming parents. We have a lot of love to give and hope to be able to share it with a little human.
