My name is Kaylee, I am looking to start IVF so that my husband, Daniel, and I can expand our family. My husband was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia almost 15 years ago and was blessed by an aggressive medical team that lead him to the remission he has been in for 13 years. Unfortunately, one of the side effects of chemo/radiation is fertility issues down the line which is why IVF is the route for him. As for me, I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Balanced Translocation (Chromosome Malformation), and carry two serious genetic conditions that can be passed on to my offspring which makes IVF the only decision for me to get pregnant. We have both dreamed of a family for a very long time, but are now looking to make that dream come true. Unfortunately, the genetic testing that goes along with my medical issues has shot up the price of IVF quite a bit making that dream just out of reach.
