Hi my name is Paige and I am raising money for our IVF journey. We’ve struggled to get pregnant for going on 5y now. Unexplained infertility. In 2022, I had my first round of IVF. She was able to retrieve 22 eggs! By the end of the stages, 6 made it through, but only 5 were able to be transferred. June 24, 2022, I had my first IVF transfer. It was successful! We were FINALLY PREGNANT! Found out we were having a sweet baby girl and were going to name her Isla Kay. From the beginning, I had complications, was diagnosed with a Subchorionic hemorrhage. After 14 weeks, I was finally able to enjoy pregnancy. Until the week of Thanksgiving (2022), I felt something was wrong. Steven and I were both not feeling well. So my mom rushed me to the hospital. At first, we were told they could hear our sweet girl’s heartbeat. After positioning and ultrasound, unfortunately we heard those devastating words “There is no heartbeat.” Even though we had been reassured that past Monday by the high risk specialist “everything looked great.” All along, they were getting my heart beat. My poor husband was sick with the flu at the time and wasn’t able to be there with me as we found out the news. The next day I had to go through the whole birthing process and delivered sweet Isla whom was stillborn. My birthing process was horrific, I had to be rushed into the OR after delivery due to losing a lot of blood. That night I was not able to be alert enough to hold my little girl… I felt robbed. To this day, we have no answers as to why we lost her. Fast forward to April 2023, we felt we were ready to start transfers again. After 2 more failed transfers, we had one last opportunity to try again this time transferring two embryos. We were PREGNANT! Unfortunately, it was a chemical pregnancy meaning early miscarriage. I had to grow through that process and we were once again devastated. We have to find means to start all over again and do a whole new egg retrieval. We’ve spent an obscene amount of money, before our Ivf journey we did 5 IUIs which of course failed.. I am asking you to share, donate, or do whatever you can to help make our dreams of becoming parents again a reality. We’ve been through so much in the last two years With me having unexplained infertility issues and IVF is our only option for me to conceive, it has been an emotional roller coaster.
