Their story

Most of you seeing this have been apart of our story for some time. I started an Instagram account after our son Stetson was born in 2016 so I could connect with other families on a similar journey. Stetson was born with a rare disease and it was an extremely terrifying and isolating time we went through those first few months in the NICU and PICU. Connecting with strangers around the world made me realize that we were not alone, and we could all help each other. I’m so grateful for all the friends we’ve made in our little corner of the internet. Stetson’s story went on to touch the hearts of thousands and I’m so thankful for every one of you for loving our baby boy. Our world shattered in 2021 when Stetson suddenly and unexpectedly got sick and fell asleep for the last time in our arms. For almost 3 years we have struggled to find our purpose anymore. He was our whole world. Recently, we’ve talked about becoming parents again and bringing Stetson’s little sibling into the world. But we found out that to do this we would need to pursue IVF with PGT. Neither of our insurance plans cover fertility treatments. Many friends we’ve made online have encouraged us to start a fundraiser and after reading about the different types I thought a puzzle fundraiser would be the perfect one. We purchased a custom butterfly puzzle with 500 pieces. Each piece can be sold for $10 and there is no limit on how many pieces each person can purchase. You can buy 1, 2, 3, as many as you’d like. We’ll write the names of everyone who “purchases” a puzzle piece on the back of each one, frame it and have it in our home forever 🤍 and of course share it with all of you when it’s completed! If you would like to write a note on your puzzle piece, please include it for us! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every one of you who loved, supported, encouraged, and lifted us up with our baby boy. We miss him more than words can describe and it makes me so happy that he will always live on through us and all of you, and hopefully one day soon, his baby sibling 🤍
