My name is Dezarae, and I have unexplained Infertility. My husband and I have tried to get pregnant for the last 5 years; however, unexplained infertility has made this journey a battle. We just recently went through a fully medicated IVF cycle. We transferred our one and only Embryo and lost the baby on June 5, 2023. Our hearts have never been so broken before. All we have ever wanted is to become pregnant. Today, 06/16 we had our first follow up with our reproductive endocrinologist. He advised us on the positive and negative outlooks. Our positive is they were able to retrieve 9 eggs. My body responded well to the estradiol, and lastly, we ended up with one viable embryo. The negatives; our ages. I am 39, my husband is 42. We only had one that made it to blastocyst stage out of the 9 eggs retrieved. We were advised that our only other option is to change our protocol for the next time, and he really wants us to start our next IVF cycle in August 2023.
