IVF to become a mother

My name is Gicela, and I’ve always dreamed of becoming a mother. For as long as I can remember, I’ve imagined holding my own child, watching them take their first steps, and building a family full of love. That dream has never faded, but the path to it has been harder than I ever imagined.
I’ve been living with PCOS since my teenage years, and I always knew it might make getting pregnant difficult. But two years ago, after more testing, we discovered something even harder to hear: both of my fallopian tubes were blocked. Surgery was able to unblock one, but the other remains blocked. With PCOS and a blocked tube, getting pregnant naturally is impossible. IVF is my only option.
I’m so grateful for my boyfriend and his children—they fill my heart in so many ways. But I still long to experience pregnancy and motherhood for myself. I want to carry my own child, to feel that bond from the very beginning, and to give our family a new chapter.
The emotional weight of this journey has been heavy, and the financial side feels just as overwhelming. IVF is expensive, and we simply don’t have the resources to cover it on our own. That’s why I’m reaching out with a humble heart. Any donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making this dream real.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support means more than words can say, and it gives me hope that one day soon, I’ll be able to hold my own baby in my arms.
