Our names are Jeryn and Jon. We are fundraising for IVF because we would love to expand our family. We have two little boys, Jaxson and Joseph who were conceived naturally, when Jaxson was born we found out he had a genetic condition but it was unable to be diagnosed, we ended up getting pregnant with Joseph and when Joseph was only a few weeks old we got a diagnosis of Congenital disorders of Glycolysation for Jaxson due to a rare gene in his DNA. We found out that Joseph has this as well and that we have a 50/50 chance of another child having it if we were to conceive naturally. Thankfully with science we have a chance at being able to have a child that won’t carry this heartbreaking gene as we can do genetic testing before implantation.
