Their story

We are John and Naomi, and we have been on a journey to conceive for over 3 years, but have always longed to be parents. It's been an emotional ride, including surgery, testing, injections, supplements, disappointments, and loss. We've worked with doctors to treat PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and endometriosis to attempt to conceive naturally, and sadly, our only pregnancy was short-lived. We've now made the difficult decision to try Invitro Fertilization, which we have previously avoided largely due to the expense. Insurance only covers what is deemed a medical need, and unfortunately, difficulty in conceiving does not meet this criteria. We would greatly appreciate any support, as any amount helps. We know that not everyone is able to contribute financially; we also covet your thoughts and prayers. In this process, we have learned that we are not alone in our struggles. We hope by being open about our issues with fertility, we may help others with similar difficulties feel less isolated. If we raise more finances than are actually needed for our treatment, we intend to donate any remaining funds to another couple in need.
