For as long as I can remember, becoming a mother has been one of my greatest dreams. I am now 37 years old, and I have never had the opportunity to bring a child into this world. My journey to motherhood has been filled with heartbreak, procedures, uncertainty, and many moments when I wondered if my dream would ever become a reality.
In 2019, I became pregnant, but instead of experiencing the joy of a healthy pregnancy, I learned that it was an ectopic pregnancy. For my safety, the pregnancy had to be treated with medication. It was heartbreaking, but I continued to hold onto hope that one day I would be able to experience a healthy pregnancy and become a mother.
Since then, I have faced several reproductive health challenges. I have undergone procedures to remove uterine polyps and a fibroid, and I have also experienced serious problems with my fallopian tubes. One of my fallopian tubes has been removed, and my remaining tube has been diagnosed as blocked with hydrosalpinx.
After years of hoping to conceive naturally, I am now facing the possibility that IVF may be my best chance at becoming a mother. IVF can bypass my damaged fallopian tube and potentially give me the opportunity to experience pregnancy and have the child I have dreamed of for so long.
Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover IVF, and the cost of treatment is more than I can manage on my own. That’s why I am asking for help.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help me move one step closer to pursuing fertility treatment. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing my story, offering encouragement, or keeping me in your prayers means more than you may realize.
I’m not asking for a guarantee—I’m asking for a chance.
A chance to experience a healthy pregnancy.
A chance to hold my baby for the first time.
A chance to finally hear someone call me Mom. ❤️
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story and supporting Joquayla’s Journey to Motherhood. Every donation and every share brings a little more hope to a dream I haven’t given up on.
