Hi all, I am Shanise, and my husband is Christopher. We have been together for 19 years now, we are looking for support to continue this journey and bring life into this world. 2020 was definitely a year for our family, we married, had promotions at work, learned the true meaning of "essential", and recovered from Covid-19 twice. During this world wind of a year, we also had the joy of finding out we were expecting our first child, but unfortunately when going in for an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy they found a cyst on my fallopian tube which blocked the pregnancy from making it to my uterus. I was scheduled for a salpingectomy to remove my right tube the very next day. Once we recovered physically and emotionally from the loss we went to a fertility specialist, and after 3 years of trying to conceive we have finally decided to take the leap and try IVF.
