Hello, we’re Jasmine and Bruce. We’re sharing our story with open hearts and a whole lot of faith. In 2021, we began our journey through fertility treatments, hopeful and prayerful that we’d be starting a family soon. I had surgery to remove multiple fibroids, one of which was blocking a fallopian tube and in order to prepare my body for pregnancy. Unfortunately, even after treatment, those first attempts were unsuccessful. A couple of years later, we experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage, a loss that shook us deeply, but also reminded us how much love we already have for the child we’re still praying for. We’ve always believed that God makes no mistakes and even though this journey hasn’t been easy, we know He is still writing our story. After much prayer, we feel peace and clarity about moving forward with IVF. This next step is both exciting and overwhelming, especially due to the financial burden it brings. IVF can cost anywhere between $20,000–$30,000 depending on how many rounds are needed, and unfortunately, insurance doesn’t help. Asking for help isn’t easy, but we’ve come to learn that sometimes God answers prayers through people. If you feel led to give, pray, or simply share our story, we are truly grateful.
