My name is Crista and my husband is Josh. I am a Pediatric Nurse and he is in the Army National Guard and also works for the state of Tennessee. I suffer from PCOS and he has a balanced translocation. A balanced translocation means that one of his chromosomes broke off and connected to another. He also has a Carnitine Deficiency. We have done one round of IVF with 1 embabie coming back normal. I did end up in the hospital with internal bleeding after retrieval also. We transferred that normal embaby in April and it didn’t stick. My mommy passed away two days prior to transfer. That could’ve had a lot to do with it not working. We are set for another retrieval in January. All donations will go straight to our fertility treatments!
