Hi! My name is Ashley. My husband(Jason) and I began dating in August of 2016. He had two children from a previous marriage that I have helped raise as my own. We were later married in January of 2020 and have been actively trying to have a child for over 4 years now. I have been to several doctors and we have gone through multiple rounds of IUIs and other fertility treatments, along with several procedures and surgeries. In the end, my doctor has explained that they simply do not have an answer for the reason we have not been able to conceive, finally resulting in an unexplained fertility diagnosis. We were informed that our best chance of having a child would be through IVF and that the IVF treatments would cost around $16,000. If anyone is familiar with this process, you also know how much work we have had to miss and how much of a mental challenge this is as well.
