My name is Elizabeth and my husband is Alejandro Valerio. I have Polycystic ovary syndrome commonly referred to as PCOS. PCOS is health condition in women in which ovaries produce many immature or partially mature eggs due to a hormonal imbalance. PCOS is a condition that affects women's ovaries, the reproductive organs that produce progesterone and estrogen hormones that help in regulating the menstrual cycle.
We have been together for 7 years and married two of those. We started trying to get pregnant after my diagnosis because we were informed it may be difficult to achieve a pregnancy. It has now been 3 almost 4 years in the process of trying to get pregnant and bring a baby to our life. We have tried fertility medications for during multiple cycles without any success. It has been a very difficult couple of years wondering when it will be our turn because our hearts desire to bring a beautiful healthy baby to our life. My Gyno has referred us out to a specialist and after searching and getting different opinions we have been recommended to start an IVF Cycle that would gives us a 75% chance of pregnancy.
We are financially prepared to have a child but not prepared to pay such a large sum to attempt an IVF cycle. Unfortunately our insurance does not cover fertility treatments as many insurances don't and we will have to be seen as a cash patient.
Please consider helping us make our dream come true to become parents. We never knew it would be this difficult.
