My partner and I have been together over 12 years and recently had our first child via surrogate in 2021. We had a wonderful surrogate and went the independent route. We are looking for a surrogate to complete a sibling journey and would like to go the independent route. We had a few issues with our clinics and due to improper thawing we lost our remaining embryos. We are currently looking create additional embryos and match with a surrogate and complete our final sibling journey. Neither of our insurances have coverage for fertility benefits for same sex couples. We’ve paid everything out of pocket and will have to do so with this journey as well.
