My name is Britney Leon, and I’m Kameron Leon’s sister. Recently, we completed a round of IVF together. Out of six eggs, three became embryos — and for a while, it felt like everything was falling into place. But after testing, we learned that none of the embryos were viable for transfer. Our hearts were shattered. Still, we refuse to lose hope. My brother and his husband have one dream — to have a child that carries DNA from both sides of their family. Unfortunately, IVF isn’t covered by insurance in this situation — not for me as a donor, and not for them since it’s a sibling donation. They’ve already carried the full cost of the first round, but financially, they can’t do it again alone. And that’s why I’m here — reaching out to our community with an open heart.
