My name is Kate, my husband is Mitchell. We have unfortunately had three recurrent miscarriages. I have been diagnosed with infertility as well as a clotting disorder, MTHFR. Methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) is the rate-limiting enzyme in the methyl cycle, and it is encoded by the MTHFR gene. This can be linked to recurrent miscarriages. We have had frequent consultations and many tests up to this point. We have been told our next step is IVF. Though I work for a good employer, there is no coverage for IVF treatment or medications. Funds raised will go towards IVF medications/treatment.
