My name is Katherine, and my husband, Jesse, and I have been married for 7 years. Since I already had my son going into the marriage, we decided to start trying to grow our family right away. However, after 7 years, we have not been able to do. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis after having a laparoscopy performed. It was something that I was told 9 years ago needed to be done but no other doctor had been willing to perform it. I have had so many tests and procedures done to determine the cause of our infertility, that you would think by now we would have an answer. As it turns out, no doctor has been able to give me a reason. My OB/GYN has ran out of options and ideas, and she has told us that our only other option is to see a fertility specialist. Even if you have never been, you know that, these doctors can be very, very expensive. My husband is worried due to the financial side of it, and I am worried that my little boy is going to be an only child forever. I remember dreaming about having a house full of kids when I was younger, but I ended up setting on three. With how things are currently looking, we will be lucky to have two.
