Being a mother has been the greatest blessing of my life. Raising my son has filled my heart with so much love, and for years, I've dreamed of giving him a sibling and experiencing motherhood again. I'm now choosing to pursue that dream as a Single Mother by Choice (SMBC). My journey hasn't been without challenges. I have only one ovary, and when my former partner and I tried to conceive for almost a year, we were unsuccessful. Although I haven't received an official infertility diagnosis, those experiences have left me with concerns about my ability to conceive. Rather than putting my dream of having another child on hold, I've decided to take the next steps on my own. I plan to meet with a fertility specialist, explore my options, and pursue IVF if it's the right treatment for me. As a single mother, I understand the responsibility of raising a child, both emotionally and financially. I have so much love to give, but fertility treatment can be extremely expensive, especially when navigating the process independently. This fundraiser will help me take the first steps toward growing my family through fertility testing and, if recommended, treatment. I'm not asking anyone to make my dream happen for me.
