We're grateful to be considered for assistance. We made the decision to pursue IVF thoughtfully and are currently paying for treatment entirely out of pocket. I had a tubal ligation after having my two sons during a very different chapter of my life and was later widowed while they were very young. Years later, my husband and I have made the meaningful decision to have a child together. This would be my third biological child, my husband’s second, and our first together. IVF gives us the opportunity to experience parenthood together within the family we've built. We're committed to contributing toward treatment ourselves. Grant assistance would help make the substantial upfront costs of IVF more manageable while preserving resources for our family and future child. Thank you for considering our family and helping make this opportunity more financially attainable.
How we'll use the funds: We're requesting grant assistance to help cover the out-of-pocket costs of IVF treatment, including fertility testing, medications, monitoring, egg retrieval, fertilization and embryo development, and embryo transfer.
We're currently paying for our fertility care ourselves, so grant funding would directly reduce the financial burden of treatment and help us continue moving forward with IVF.
