My name is Kyana and I am a cervical cancer survivor. On September 14th, 2021, I celebrated three years cancer-free. Before my treatment, I had a fertility preservation treatment done to lessen the chances of going into early menopause. Low and behold, I suffered a fistula and radiation damage that resulted in the right ovary and right tube being removed. However, my left ovary is still in my body. It currently is not in my pelvic. With all of that in mind, we already knew there was a possibility that I would need assistance or other options to parent a beautiful baby! As I embark on this journey, I am uninsured as far as treatments/testing for infertility. I have coverage for basic needs and to cover a child if brought into the world. I want to raise enough money to jumpstart and assist me with out-of-pocket costs as I start testing and reviewing treatment options. As of right now, it is looking more like donor/surrogacy. The money raised will also go toward on medical costs or surgical treatments that may be needed. Whatever the path may be, the funds will be greatly appreciated and applied to donor eggs, donor embryo, adoption, etc. Any amount helps!
