Hi, I’m Lisa- a corporate leader by day, spray tan artist by night, and a hopeful mom-to-be with my whole heart set on growing our family. By day I lead teams at 7-Eleven, and by night I run my own small business, 24 Karat Glow, a place I built to help women feel beautiful, confident, and truly seen. It’s work I love, but nothing compares to the dream Al and I share of welcoming a child together. My husband Al is my rock and my best friend. We found our way back to each other after ten years apart, and since then we’ve built a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience. We have two amazing stepkids, a home full of pets, and a partnership that’s weathered more than most. Al has faced unimaginable loss- both parents, his first son, even surviving being shot- yet he wakes up every morning believing in our future. His hope is contagious, and it’s what keeps us going. That hope has carried us through years of fertility treatments. We’ve endured two egg retrievals, a hysteroscopy, multiple tests, and three embryo transfers- one of which ended in an early loss. We’ve given this journey everything: emotionally, physically, and financially. So far, we’ve spent over $60,000 out-of-pocket, and now we’re left with no embryos and still no baby. We’re not giving up. We believe our family isn’t complete yet, and we’re turning to IVF one more time. But we can’t do it alone.
