We are fundraising for a chance to start our family. As a newly married same sex couple we are seeing the financial burden it can be to pay for fertility treatments out of pocket. Living in the conservative state of Texas as a same sex couple has been hard for many reasons… one being insurance coverage of fertility and being labeled as having “elective infertility”. We have paid several thousands out of pocket to try and add to our new family and haven’t been lucky thus far. This money would be a breathe of fresh air and give us the calm we need to move forward with the next round of treatments we hope to start soon.
