Thank you for visiting my fundraiser. My name is Tori. I have been battling infertility for 11 years with a diagnosis of PCOS and endometriosis. My amazingly supportive and loving husband surprised me last September when he announced that he had saved up for IVF, found a fertility clinic and was ready to try to make a baby together. I was so excited and so hopeful. After months of appointments, shots, medications we finally had our egg retrieval, but it wasn’t quite the outcome we had hoped for. Out of 27 eggs, we only got one healthy embryo. But we were still over the moon because our one embryo seemed to be a perfectly healthy boy ?. We transferred him in March and 6 days later were so happy when we got a positive pregnancy test. But soon after, our hearts broke when we realized we had lost our perfect baby boy…our only hope at a baby. IVF is full of highs and lows….the hope feels so good, but the disappointment can hurt like no other. After talking to our Dr we are hopeful that this can work for us. I am not ready to give up on my dreams yet. I know I will be a mother one day, some how. Infertility treatments are unfortunately not seen as a necessity by insurance companies and therefore not covered at all by insurance. So any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
