Trying to build a family after being diagnosed with several chronic illnesses is difficult; especially when they add a age window of being able to carry a healthy baby to term. At almost 30 I was told I had until I was 32 to safely carry my own child; that was shocking considering ive been single for years. So my Dr's suggested becoming a single parent by choice by using IVF and luckily my employer insurance does have plans that help however that has a lifetime cap of 20k to be used for both meds and procedures and doesnt cover the cost of donor specimen. Ive tried getting financial aid through traditional means and sadly everyone turned me down. Im currently a ivf patient with my clinic and I just need the funds for some of the med cost and cost of donor specimen. Ive always wanted a child since I was a little girl and it would mean everything to me for even having a chance at trying to have the blessing of a child.
